Founded in 2012, Suvla is a family owned wine producer and viticulture company located in Eceabat by the Çanakkale Strait – Dardanelles on the historical Peninsula of Gallipoli. Suvla is named after a bay in the north coast of the Aegean Sea in Turkey, close to family vineyard Bozokbağ.
In this region, famous with it’s history, the relationship between vines and soil is going on for centuries. Family vineyard was set under the certification of ‘Good Agriculture Practice-GAP’ and switched to organic certification by 2013 and is qualifed for “EU approved organic certificate” in 2023.
The organic vineyard, 1000 hectar, has wide variety of vins and nestled in the historical Peninsula of Gallipoli between the North Aegean coast and the Marmara seas. Varieties of the coastal family vineyard, indigenous varieties which are peculiar to the historical peninsula and other local varieties harvested from the vineyards all over Turkey are being processed in the winery.
Suvla pursues to produce wines of subtle, rich in character with elegant and exquisite finish to complement extensive range of dishes. These wines reveal its spectacular geography and a land full of history.
Focusing on quality and working with specialized team and the latest sophisticated infrastructure, Suvla winery processes high quality grapes incorporating state-of the-art technology and knowhow. The modern style winery houses a facility of traditional olive oil mill as well as producing natural agricultural products. A wide Suvla concept store showcases all the labels of the winery and the natural products for the visitors. Furthermore, the concept store includes a fascinating restaurant and a tasting bar for wine lovers to enjoy the menu with perfectly paired wines.

By being a young brand launched in 2012, Suvla is awarded by over 650 top level medals in several national and international wine contests. Lately Suvla has been awarded as 3 times a row in 2020-2021-2022 “Best winery in Balkan’s” in The Balkan’s International Wine Competition.
“Best of Show Turkey” from Mundus Vini and 2 Grand Gold awards from 2 contests Mundus Vini and Vinaria in 2023. Suvla Wines have young premium, premium and ultra premium labels to satisfy different tastes. Totally 60 labels of whites, roses and reds are placed in the markets with enthusiasm by the public.

SUVLA BOĞAZKERE - ÖKÜZGÖZÜ 2021
The best known indigenous varieties Boğazkere and Öküzgözü originated from Anatolia, are blended in this wine. Boğazkere was grown in Diyarbakır, where it shows its purist expression and Öküzgözü was grown in Elazığ. Those indigenous varieties are crafted at Suvla Winery. The color the wine is medium purple. The nose is an explosion of fruity notes – sour cherry, red plum, blackberry, freshly cracked black pepper. It’s powerful aromas wit balanced tannins lead to a juicy long lingering finish.

SUVLA KABATEPE RED 2021
Suvla Kabatepe is symbolized by Argonauts mythological ancient boat of Dardanelles. ‘Kabatepe’ is a harbour at the north coast of the Aegean Sea on the Historical Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey. Famous for its history and pine forests, the region nestles various vineyard. Varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Öküzgözü were crafted right after the harvest with a touch of Karasakız. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 3 months. Kabatape Red 2021 is a red blend wine reflecting it’s terroir’s properties very well. The wine has a garnet color with intense fruity and spicy aromas along rounded tannins with a balanced body. It is a perfect match with starter plates, BBQ meats, all kind of meat dishes, pasta, and pizzas.

This white wine is produced by the varieties of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Narince grown on the family vineyard Bozokbağ and traditional vineyards of Gallipoli Peninsula respectively. Suvla Kabatepe White 2022 is a well balanced white wine offering floral and fruity aromas like citrus, pear and white flowers. It has a crisp acidity and dynamic finish. SUVLA SIR 2020
Suvla SIR is a benchmark of elegance and finesse. SIR 2020 consists mainly of the varieties Syrah, Pinot Noir, and the indigenous variety Karasakız. The wine is partially aged for 15 months in oak barrels. Deep, inky purple hues lead to a dense, spicy and perfumed nose of ripe blueberry, dark forest berries, liquorice and black cherry. Refined tannins provide a beautiful texture and build towards a long finish. The wine is suitable for bottle aging. Decanting is suggested for enhancing the aromas.

Suvla Sur is a benchmark of power and balance. The wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Frank and Malbec varieties with a touch of Petit Verdot grown on vineyards of Gallipoli Peninsula. The wine is partially aged for 15 months in selected oak barrels. It exhibits aromas of red forest fruits, blackberry, huckleberry and dark red plum with the notes of black pepper and rosemary. It shows excellent intensity and depth with coffee and tobacco aromas. Having an intricate structure and delicate tannins, the wine is suitable for aging. Decanting is suggested for enhancing the aromas.

SUVLA RESERVE SYRAH 2021
This reserve wine is produced exclusively from the Syrah variety of selected plots of traditional vineyards of Denizli – Güney. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. It is opulent and fine-grained with a dark fruit core. Aromas of violet, blueberry and plum spices are followed by tobacco, mocha, black olive and vanilla on the palate. The wine has a velvety tannic structure and has a long finish with lingering notes of spices in the end. Suitable for bottle aging. Decanting is suggested for enhancing the aromas.

SUVLA RESERVE KARASAKIZ 2021
This reserve wine is produced exclusively from indigenous variety Karasakız grown on the traditional vineyards of Gallipoli Peninsula. The best parcels of Karasakız are selected and wine is aged 11 months in oak barrels. The wine is bright ruby red in color and has a rich and complex bouquet dominated by fruity notes of black cherry, black pepper, red currant and tobacco. The crisp and concentrated body is developing an impressive elegant and complex pallate. The finish is long and luscious, enhancing fragrances of leather and spics accompanied by fine tannins.
