Vancouvery Vintages

the story of VANCOUVERY VINTAGES
and haluk ERENGUC

For all we know, Haluk Erenguc could’ve made a brilliant law scholar. His father was one.

So it’s only natural that as a teenager he worked part-time in his father’s law office,
writing up petitions, putting together files and legal documents.

But… Although he didn’t go to law school following his graduation from Downey Sr. High School in the US, he wasn’t too far either: He graduated from University of Ankara, Fac. of Political Sciences, Dept. of Economics & Finance.

No wonder he always liked positions managing various companies, small and large; setting-up and growing some himself, including a few business associations, national and international; volunteering board level contribution in educational and cultural bodies.

A skipper of sailboats. A sipper of wine, single malts and bourbons. (Not to forget, a seasoned biker and a licensed pilot.)

When ages-old Anatolian wine making was reborn and on the rise in 2000’s with international and indigenous grape varieties, Erenguc became an even more active supporter of Turkish brands.

Hence started the introduction of quality Turkish vintages into Vancouver and BC proper in 2015
