The winemaking history of the region dates back to B.C. It dates back to the Phrygians period.
The region, called Pepuza at that time, produced fruit wines such as cherry and pomegranate in amphorae along with grape wine. Today, the suitable soil and climate conditions of the region continue to provide rich regional wine grape varieties and new grapes that are being tried.
Küp Winery, closely involved in ecological agriculture, introduced Küp Artemis Organic Wine in 2003. Küp factory and every stage of production had been certified for organic production by an international certification company.
As of the end of 2023, the annual capacity of Küp is 6 hectoliters.
